Trainer Neville Parnham heads into Wednesday’s eight race program at Belmont Park with a number of leading chances, headed by four-year-old Military Service.

Military Service has impressed in its past three starts, running fourth on each occasion, including the Listed Belmont Classic and Dayana Plate behind Proceedwithcaution.

The grey gelding is expected to jump a short price favourite in the Perth Racing On Facebook and Twitter Handicap (2100m).

Phantom Choice is also expected to be vying for favouritism in the Westspeed Handicap (1000m) following his trial victory at Belmont on August 4.

Baraki Beats, second in the same trial, will be looking to turn the tables on Phantom Choice by making the most of the favourable barrier draw.

Gondiggin is another leading hopeful for Parnham in the Spring Racing Just Around The Corner Handicap (1400m), the opening event on the card.

The five-year-old mare finished in third placing last Wednesday at Belmont Park, and is dropping back from 1650 metres to 1400 metres.

The eight race program kicks off at 12.49pm, and concludes with the Handicap (1000m) at 5pm.
