A big day for the stable tomorrow with two runners in the $500,000 Group 2 Perth Cup and seven other runners on the day.

Every Perth trainer wants to win the Perth Cup. We have been fortunate to have won with Lunar Tudor in 2000 and would like to win another one!

The stable will also be represented by the 4YO Danehill Express gelding Lenience in the $100,000 Listed Summer Scorcher over 1000 metres. He will tackle the race first up. He has been a good horse for the team with a record of 20 starts for 4 wins, 5 seconds, 5 thirds and prize money and bonuses of $349,006.

In race 1, the 2YO event, we have two runners, including the promising War Chant filly Kentucky Lass, who was second on debut at her only run. Our other runner is the debutant Big Brown filly Light Up The Sky for our good client Santo Guagliardo.

The stable will also have two runners in race 2, a 3YO Open handicap over 1400 metres. The in form Seabring filly Star Bay will be aiming to add another win to her resume, while the maiden Stratum gelding Steve’s Surprise will be looking to win his first start at only his third attempt.

Right Honourable will go around in race 4 over 1400 metres and Via Laurentina will return to racing in the race 9 over 1200 metres.
Good luck to connections.
