Tomorrow we have six runners at Belmont Park.

The first runner is Stoney Bridge in the first race for 2yos over 1400m. He has come on well from his first up effort when he raced a little green and lay in a little in the straight.

This is just a bit of inexperience so to help that along I have added winkers and a lugging bit to his gear. This will make Paul Harvey’s job a little easier I hope by keeping him straight.

He does get some solid opposition from promising horses like Blackwood and Regal Gleam who are in great form. However they jump from 7 and 8 in a small field of 9 so it could be tricky.

I’m expecting Stoney Bridge to be a place chance in the race.

Race four we have the three runners Malibu Style, Vonus and Roebuck. Malibu Style and Vonus are last start winners over 1000m at Belmont but Vonus jumps up in class and Malibu Style has his share of weight in 60kg.

There are some other smart types also in the race so it is an interesting contest. Malibu Style has looked classy in his wins and I believe he will be the testing horse in the race. His work is good and expect him to run up to his best form.

Vonus will be tested against this class having only won a maiden two starts back but he keeps improving and expect he can be there for a long way with a light weight.

Roebuck has had his issues since a great start to his career however he is doing everything right and from a wide gate we may have to be a bit negative from the gate and see if he can run on.

Top Show is racing in race five over 1400m and she is set to be very hard to beat in this event. Her first up run was outstanding and from a good draw and the step in distance she comes in very well.

She meets North Ridge 4.5kg better which obviously helps our cause considerably. She will be heading to the Belmont Guineas after this race all going well.

Star Glitter ran an excellent race first up when finishing close up (long neck) when running sixth. He has trained on well and from barrier one and Jerry Noske’s claim reducing his weight to 54.5kg.

He does look a good chance of finishing in the money. He hasn’t won for a while but he is going well this preparation and expect he won’t take long to win a race.
