Street Bandit has won his third career race at start 44 today, and his third in six starts, with another perfect ride by Lucy Warwick for trainer Neville Parnham.
Still likely celebrating the victory of Royal Rada in the Hannan’s on Thursday, Warwick and Parnham combined again to hand Street Bandit another victory following a dream ride by the star non-claiming apprentice.
Although drawn wide, Lucy Warwick enabled the galloper to get into one-out-one-back and that run proved valuable in the end, defeating the well supported Black Royale and Sandpipers.
Verdello Blue raced off the speed today and Military Service was caught three wide without cover and the grey’s didn’t feature in proceedings. Bolter Maybe Next Year pinched a break on-speed and despite being passed in the straight, fought back in the final 200 metres and was unlucky not to have placed.
Street Bandit won in 2.22.34 and by a long neck.
